800 Table Series

The 800 Reveal Table is a great design for the modern library. This table features a laminate top, with a bull nosed wood edge, and a solid oak leg attached with a dye cast plate. Our top is constructed with highest density fiberboard core, or we can provide lumber core if specified. The wood table edge, rather than being a ?" thick, is 1 5/8" thick and attached to the core using mortise and tenon construction. This ensures that no one can pull up and "strip off" the wood from the table edge. We enhance the look of our table with an oak apron.

The legs are glued up solid oak, finishing out at 2 ?" square, with eased edges. The leg is attached to the table using a special die cast plate. The plate, being dye cast, is important because it does not use welded together steel, and as a result cannot be broken in a welded joint. We only use heavy-duty machine bolts and barrel nuts to secure the legs to the plate and the plate to the table. All the connections are metal to metal, not screws, between the plate and the leg and the plate and table.

We have another style of table, the 600 style, which uses the same top construction but utilizes a larger apron to give it a more traditional look. The styling, or apron, on this table is 4" wide and the legs are secured to it using a lag bolt and nut. Since we make all of our own tables, and the tops, we have a large selection of sizes. We have all the standard sizes, but we can make special or custom sizes as well.
